Suppliers do not always use these terms consistently. One company’s “OEM” may only mean a custom box around a standard glove. Another may allow genuine changes to formulation or construction. Define the deliverables in writing.

1. Intended use and target customer
“Nitrile glove” is not a complete product brief. 2. Product category and supported claims
